Who Is Imaginovator Veronica?
Founder and Imaginovator Veronica Vargas always felt a little different. She connected with trees from a young age, reflecting on the deep connections between the self, the world, and nature. She got violently ill after a family trip to Mexico, resulting in bouts of sickness and high fevers that lasted many months. Afterwards, her intuitive abilities magnified, but upon sharing this with peers, she was ridiculed.
After many years of closing that part of herself off, going through the motions, and generally living life the way society expected her to, Veronica found herself working a marketing job in commercial aviation. Unfulfilled, she decided to create a life that was more connected, creative, and in touch with her truth.
“I asked myself, what gives me joy?” she says. “I always loved writing, doodling, and creating and so what came naturally to me as the best thing to do was to start making greeting cards.” And Shaboo Prints was born. “There’s a path to happiness, and it’s not through what other people say; it’s of your own heart.”

Full BIO: Veronica Vargas was a creative and whimsical child, but after decades of conformity she found herself struggling with dissatisfaction and a deep longing for fulfillment. In her forties, she returned to her childhood passions – drawing, writing, and playing – and established Shaboo Prints, a boutique lifestyle brand designing positive, feel-good products. Today, Veronica uses “imaginovation” to innovate feel-good products that expand the boundaries of possibility. She considers herself a social expressionist and entrepreneur on a mission to return millions of adults back to a wondrous world full of potential, play, and a knowing that expressing their real self is the whole point — i.e., finding their happy place!
An expert on play, imagination, and creativity, Veronica partnered with software company iGreet in 2019 to open windows into imaginative worlds and expand the experience of Shaboo’s physical products with augmented reality.
In February 2022 she is launching an 8-week online experience called Your New Odyssey. It is two months of transformative creative experiences designed to strengthen your far-out imagination and reconnect you with your innate creative genius. Why? To help adults succeed during this New Renaissance of the 21st Century as idea-generating titans of innovation.
Veronica is always exploring ways to create surprising immersive experiences. In 2024 Productions by Shaboo designed an exhibition booth for the world famous Farnborough Air Show in the United Kingdom. From the comfort of a lounge, visitors watched commercial aircraft undergo various stages of maintenance and repair on 14-foot tall LED screens.
Veronica received her bachelor’s degree from California State University – Fullerton and her master’s degree from Woodbury University. A breast cancer survivor, she loves reading, people-watching, being with family, traveling, connecting with friends, healthy living, cooking and baking, creative writing, and doodling. Leading by example, Veronica is living a fulfilled life and sharing her mission-driven business in hopes of inspiring others to tap into their own happy place where they are free to live big and play hard.
